From NYCDOB:

Beginning November 14, 2022, applicants for permits for work that will disturb lead paint or paint of unknown lead content will be required to:

  • Provide an EPA lead firm paint certificate number
  • Attest that that the work complies with specific laws and regulations related
    to lead paint
  • Include information in the Tenant Protection Plan (TPP) related to lead paint.
